We have been in business since 1995 and now specialise in bird exclusion, primarily around solar panels.Â
How we feel about safety
We work safely on single and double-story domestic properties. We also have the ability to work on commercial buildings, as we are able to do so safely. Our guys are police checked, have working with children checks, work at heights, and we are insured for work cover and public liability.
Our Process
When we do the job, we take before and after photos. We then email these with the invoice. Payment can be made by cash, credit card or online transfer.

Rarely do I post a review unless it is a truly excellent product and great service. Craig and Ian were excellent from the moment I called to the completion of the work. All within 2 weeks from the initial discussion at a busy end of year period. (Late Dec 2023). They did exactly what they said they do and have it down to a fine art. As it is a team that work permanently for the organisation, you get that care and pride of good work, rather than contractors who don’t. Our problem was new with a recent family of pigeons making their home under our solar. Seems a growing trend and more will find this occur as pigeons find this ideal as a home permanently. The mess and noise is surprisingly bad and only more join as their families and friends expand, so don’t leave it for long.Bird Proof Solar have a refined system and quality products that secure the stainless steel mesh with virtually no modification or impact on the roof or solar panels. Looks great and barely noticeable from the street . They cleaned out the nests under the solar (a fire hazard) and the blew away the direct , cleaned the pigeon poo (health hazard), fitted the mesh and then for a little bit extra cleaned the solar panels, which had never been cleaned. A great job, which Ian kept me well informed along the way with a thorough walk thorough before and after and photos at completion. I highly recommend Bird Proof Solar, who will fix your Pigeon problem or prevent them come if you don’t yet have them. A must for all new solar installations… Anthony

These guys do a great job. I had a problem with pigeons nesting under my solar panels and filling my gutters with their nests. Ian arrived and installed the bird proofing and the pigeons moved away.By the way, these guys also do solar panel cleaning.

Highly recommend Craig, Ian and the team at Bird Proof Solar!I reached out to them after being annoyed at hearing the constant cooing from pigeons hanging around the solar panels. Especially irritating when you’re trying to work at home in a quiet environment! Craig gave me a call soon after lodging my online enquiry and provided me with a rough quote and overview of what services Bird Proof Solar would perform. I was booked in for an appointment about a week after making initial contact. I thought pricing was very reasonable.Ian came around on time and communication was great. Ian’s work was neat and tidy as evidenced by photos that I was shown.I’m glad I installed meshing around the panels before more birds nested and made a mess.The noisy pigeons are now gone (it took them a few days for them to move away!) and it’s now quiet again!Cheers guys, keep up the great work 😄👍

Ian received a call from my Pest control and immediately he called me to speak with me about what we should do with the birds in the solar panel. He arranged to come in the same day and finished the day after ( almost 1 day if work). I am very happy for the knowledge, fast work, ready to do it, professionalism, good price etc etc I highly recommend and I have never had a service that looked after my needs so quick. As I don’t have much time he saved my time, my issues that is really essential for me at this moment. Good company, good workers they know how to deal with clients and they know what they ate doing!! This company installed bird (pigeon) stainless steel mesh to my solar panels.We had, at last count, 20 pigeons squatting (uninvited) beneath our 24 solar panels and depositing copious amounts of guana all around our home and surrounding properties.Now, the remaining group are completely nonplussed at no longer being able avail themselves of free board.So, Bird Proof Solar Australia are the company for you. Three quotes and they were middle, so were accepted. Came early on the day specified, and the employee was excellent.Finished article looked good, too!Quite satisfied!

They came out quickly, professionally and on time to remove birds that had nested in our roof through a broken tile under our pool solar. They were able to repair the area and make sure the birds would come back. Great work!
